Martha Stewart is sharing her story in Netflix‘s new documentary Martha, directed by RJ Cutler.
The streamer dropped the trailer for the documentary, which premieres on October 30 and chronicles Stewart’s rise to fame, her criminal conviction, and how she rebuilt herself after her time in prison.
“I was on top of the world,” Stewart says in the trailer.
Stewart was indicted on criminal charges related to the sale of stock. The media mogul was found guilty on charges including obstruction of justice and making false statements to investigators. Stewart spent five months in prison after being found guilty.
“I was a trophy for these idiots,” Stewart says. “I was dragged into solitary, no food, no water… Those prosecutors should’ve been put into a Cuisinart and turned on high.”
