What is The Roku Channel? Content, cost, and how to use it

Popular streaming apps like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and Apple TV+ all deliver tons of great movies and TV shows, but the cost can make snagging every service more expensive than you’re comfortable with. That’s where  free advertising-supported streaming television (FAST) services like Roku really shine.

FAST providers are able todeliver quality programming without an associated cost because all programs contain ads. It means you won’t have to worry about paying that monthly subscription, although it does mean you shouldn’t expect the newest shows right away.
