Paramount+ has a light lineup of originals in December, the most notable of which is the series premiere of Dexter: Original Sin (Dec. 13). The 10-episode Dexter prequel tells the titular character’s origin story and stars Patrick Gibson as Dexter Morgan and Christian Slater as his father, Harry.
Holiday content for the month includes a SpongeBob SquarePants Christmas special (Dec. 2), a livestream of the National Christmas Tree Lighting (Dec. 20), Josh Groban & Friends Go Home for the Holidays (Dec. 20), and Nate Bargatze Nashville Christmas (Dec. 19). Paramount+ will also broadcast primetime concert An Evening with Dua Lipa (Dec. 15) and The 47th Annual Kennedy Center Honors (Dec. 22).
