Believe it or not, they’ve already made a third Sonic movie—aka, Sonic the Hedgehog 3—and it’s opening in theaters this weekend. Time flies when you don’t have kids!
Directed by Jeff Folwer—who also directed 2020’s Sonic the Hedgehog and its 2022 sequel, Sonic the Hedgehog 2—this movie sees the return of everyone’s favorite animated hedgehog. Based on the video game series from Sega, Sonic (voiced by Ben Schwartz) teams up with his old buddies Knuckles (voiced by Idris Elba) and Tails (voiced by Colleen O’Shaughnessey) to face a new enemy, the ominous Shadow the Hedgehog (voiced by Keanu Reeves).
