‘A Real Pain’ Comes to Digital, But When Will Jesse Eisenberg’s Movie Be Streaming on Hulu?

Jesse Eisenberg’s second film as a director, A Real Pain, has a shot at nominations for the 2025 Oscars, and soon you’ll be able to watch the movie from the comfort of your own home.

Written, directed, and produced by Eisenberg, A Real Pain is a light drama that tells the story of two very different cousins (played by Eisenberg and Keiran Culkin) who take a tour of Poland in honor of their late grandmother, a Holocaust survivor. The uptight David (Eisenberg) finds it his free-spirited and emotional cousin Benji (Culkin) to be, well, a real pain in the butt. But as they navigate their shared generational trauma and Jewish heritage, these two cousins find a way to better understand each other.

A Real Pain earned four Golden Globe nominations, including Best Motion Picture – Comedy, Best Screenplay, and Best Actor and Supporting Actor for Eisenberg and Culkin respectively. Read on to find
