‘Teacup’ Canceled At Peacock After One Season

There will be no season 2 for horror thriller series Teacup. Peacock has canceled the series after one season, Deadline has learned.

Starring Scott Speedman and Yvonne Strahovski, inspired by Robert McCammon’s bestselling novel Stinger, Teacup followed a disparate group of people on a ranch who must come together in the face of a mysterious threat.

Cast also included Chaske Spencer, Kathy Baker, Boris McGiver, Caleb Dolden, Emilie Bierre and Luciano Leroux.

Series was written and executive produced by Ian McCulloch (Yellowstone, Deputy, Chicago Fire). E. L. Katz (The Haunting of Bly Manor, Channel Zero) served as director and executive producer. James Wan (The Conjuring Universe, Archive 81, M3GAN), Michael Clear (Archive 81, Swamp Thing) and Rob Hackett (Archive 81, I Know What You Did Last Summer) executive produced for Atomic Monster, with Francisca X. Hu and Kevin Tancharoen. Stinger author McCammon also executive produced.
