Sonic the Hedgehog 3 is zooming onto digital platforms this week, just one month after the movie opened in theaters.
Directed by Jeff Fowler—who also directed 2020’s Sonic the Hedgehog and its 2022 sequel, Sonic the Hedgehog 2—this movie sees the return of everyone’s favorite animated hedgehog. Based on the video game series from Sega, Sonic (voiced by Ben Schwartz) teams up with his old buddies Knuckles (voiced by Idris Elba) and Tails (voiced by Colleen O’Shaughnessey) to face a new enemy, the ominous Shadow the Hedgehog (voiced by Keanu Reeves). Jim Carrey, of course, is back as Dr. Ivo Robotnik, as is James Marsden as Sonic’s adoptive father.
