Bad news, Netflix fans: another U.K. price hike is inbound.
Just a couple of weeks after the streaming service pushed prices up across the U.S., Canada, Portugal, and Argentina, Netflix has quietly brought in a pretty significant price increase that affects all U.K. membership tiers.
Netflix Standard With Ads has risen by £1, to £5.99/month. The Standard plan has gone up by £2, and will now set you back £12.99 per month for full HD streaming without ads, while Netflix Premium (4K streaming, four simultaneous streams) has gone up £1 to £18.99 a month.
If you have any Extra Member plans for people outside your normal Netflix household, you’ll also be hit with rising fees. That’s because Netflix has introduced a second tier of its Extra Member option.
