Netflix‘s investment in original content has resulted in a huge catalog of great movies in the past few years. The platform is a source of reliable hits, from blockbuster-style action movies like Carry-On and Back In Action to Oscar-nominated films like Emilia Pérez and Wallace and Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl. This year, six Netflix originals received a total of 18 Oscar nominations, and with the ceremony airing on March 2, it’s likely the streaming giant will reap a few new statuettes from its investment.
This March marks the arrival of anticipated films like The Electric State, which is the latest film from the Russo brothers, the SpongeBob spin-off Plankton: The Movie and Revelations, a feature developed by the creators of the great South Korean series, Hellbound. There are also dozens of other great titles coming to the platform, from Saoirse Ronan in 2024’s The Outrun to the A24 horror Talk To Me.
