If you’re always on the prowl for new movie night options, you could be interested in Mufasa: The Lion King’s streaming service release date.

A prequel to Disney’s 2019 Lion King remake, the Mufasa movie will let out a roar on Disney Plus later this month. Barry Jenkins directs the film, which chronicles the rise of Simba’s dad and includes songs by Lin-Manuel Miranda. In the film, Rafiki fills in Simba and Nala’s daughter, Kiara — played by Beyoncé’s daughter Blue Ivy Carter — on Mufasa’s legend.
