That shocking and sad end in episode 3 of Daredevil: Born Again is likely to steer things in a certain dangerous direction in the Marvel series. Who it gets dangerous for is yet to be seen. It could be Matt Murdock/Daredevil, or it could get dicey for someone else. Ten years after Netflix launched its Daredevil TV show and about three years after Marvel announced it would bring Charlie Cox’s Murdock back to our screen, we’re in the thick of tension and grit.
The series features Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk/Kingpin, Jon Bernthal’s Punisher, and the original show’s versions of Foggy Nelson (Elden Henson) and Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll). Executive producer Sana Amanat and executive producer/showrunner Dario Scardapane shared that fans will see the new series has a connective thread to the first iteration but is also its own story.
