Paramount+ has ordered a third season of School Spirits, the YA mystery that stars Peyton List (Cobra Kai) as Madison, a student who dies at her high school and can’t leave as she tries to discover who killed her.
The drama is produced by Awesomeness TV, Paramount Global’s in-house studio targeting young adults. Creators Megan Trinrud and Nate Trinrud along with showrunner Oliver Goldstick are set to return for the third season, to debut in 2026.
The renewal follows the second season premiering to an average audience of 3.9 million in its first 28 days, which is up around 94 percent from the first season debut. The second season sees Maddie Nears (List) still stuck in the afterlife and haunting the halls of Split River High School, knowing what happened to her and needing to unite her friends in the spectral and living worlds to reclaim her
