New episodes of 1923 drop on Sunday mornings, fresh installments of Yellowjackets debut Friday mornings, and the streamer has a slew of buzzy new movies like Better Man, Strange Darling, September 5, Smile 2, and Gladiator II.
The platform recently threw another log on the fire with the premiere of Jennifer Cacicio’s true crime drama Happy Face. Starring Annaleigh Ashford, Dennis Quaid, James Wolk, and Tamera Tomakili, the series centers on a serial killer (the Happy Face Killer) who admits to a new murder as a way to reconnect with his daughter. Based on Melissa Moore’s book and podcast, Decider’s Joel Keller gave the series a “Stream It” recommendation, praising the performances by Ashford and Quaid.
