The story has evolved from Katniss’s (Jennifer Lawrence) struggle to survive the games into a larger-scale political revolution.
The franchise’s catalog comprises five movies, and a sixth will be released in 2026. It will be an adaptation of Suzanne Collins’s fifth book, Sunrise on the Reaping, which was recently released.
The adventurous story has even moved beyond Katniss’s battle and introduced a new generation of revolutionaries in the latest film, which is actually a prequel to the original, showing with an almost entirely new cast how the fight began and continued.
