The eagerly anticipated “Last Supper” season of The Chosen now has trailer and a premiere date.
The hit Biblical historical drama from showrunner Dallas Jenkins has revealed a rather intense season five trailer, below, which teases the drama’s most ambitious episodes yet as Jesus (Jonathan Roumie) rages against the moneychangers at the Temple in Jerusalem and sets in motion the events that eventually lead to his crucifixion.
“My house should be a house of prayer, but you make it a den of thieves!” Jesus scolds, while Judas (Luke Dimyan) watches in horror on the sidelines and whispers, “What have you done?”
