Robert Langdon TV Series Based On ‘The Secret of Secrets’ Ordered By Netflix From Dan Brown & Carlton Cuse

EXCLUSIVE: In a spirited bidding war, Netflix has landed an adaptation of The Secret of Secrets, from author Dan Brown and showrunner Carlton Cuse (Lost, Jack Ryan, Locke and Key), with a series order. The yet untitled drama is set in the world of Brown’s anticipated mystery thriller novel The Secret of Secrets, the sixth book in his series about Harvard professor of symbology Robert Langdon.

Brown and Cuse are co-creators, writers and executive producers, with Cuse serving as showrunner. Emma Forman of Cuse’s Genre-Arts also executive produces. Staffing for the series is already underway.

The Secret of Secrets is set for September 9 release by Doubleday.
