Shay Mitchell (Pretty Little Liars) is the latest actor to be cast in Fox‘s Baywatch sequel series, scheduled to launch as part of the network’s 2026-27 season.
In a series regular role, Mitchell will play Trina, a former lawyer who walked away from a top-tier firm to dedicate herself to lifeguarding full-time. Trina is the sharpest mind on Baywatch. Passionate and dedicated, she tends to follow her heart… even if she often uses her considerable intelligence to second-guess herself.
Mitchell joins the previously announced lead Stephen Amell and the series regular ensemble, including Jessica Belkin as Charlie Vale, Hassie Harrison as Nat, Thaddeus LaGrone as Brad, and Brooks Nader as Selene, the sharp-tongued Captain of the Zuma Beach lifeguards. David Chokachi will reprise his role of Cody Madison— who now runs The Shoreline, the unofficially official Baywatch bar and grill— from the original series in a recurring role.
