The creative team for the 98th Oscars held a press conference Wednesday to tease some surprises for Sunday night’s award show. Among the surprises, executive producers Raj Kapoor and Katy Mullan brought up a couple of “huge reunions” to expect.
“There’s been rumors of what that [reunion] is, and we are very excited to announce that we have a Bridesmaids reunion that is going to be very special,” said Kapoor.
“There’s also going to be a Marvel reunion for the superhero fans, so we’re gonna have superstars and superheroes,” added Mullan. “And there is also going to be an extraterrestrial on the stage, so you can figure that one out.”
Host Conan O’Brien joined the executive producers for the discussion, as well as music director Michael Bearden, production designer Misty Buckley and supervising choreographer Mandy Moore. This will be O’Brien’s second time hosting the awards show, which he says
