Timothée Chalamet was front and center at the 2026 Oscars on Sunday night.
Chalamet was nominated for best actor for his role in Josh Safdie’s Marty Supreme. The A24 film stars the actor as Marty Mauser, a ping-pong hustler trying to make it out of Manhattan’s Lower East Side, where the movie filmed. The cast also includes Gwyneth Paltrow, Tyler, the Creator, Odessa A’zion, Kevin O’Leary, Abel Ferrara, Fran Drescher, Emory Cohen and Sandra Bernhard. Marty Supreme earned nine nominations in total.
