The View condemned President Donald Trump‘s recent use of a picture from a dignified transfer honoring fallen soldiers in a fundraising email.
Following a clip of Trump avoiding taking responsibility for the email sent by his political action committee (PAC) and opting out of making a comment about the six U.S. service members who died in a refueling accident, Whoopi Goldberg started off a discussion on Monday’s episode.
“I mean, no matter which side of the aisle you fall on, is this an acceptable response?” she adked.
Guest co-host and former Republican presidential candidate Carly Fiorina immediately replied, “Just apologize. Just apologize, how hard is it?”
Fiorina also took issue with Trump not taking off his baseball hat during the dignified transfer.
