The Chi is about to enter its final chapter. Paramount+ has unveiled a few new photos (see above and below), providing a first look at the upcoming eighth and final season. Production began in January on the Chicago-set drama series created by Emmy winner Lena Waithe. It’s slated to premiere later this year on Paramount+.
The Chi revolves around a group of residents on the South Side of Chicago who become linked by coincidence but bonded by the need for connection and redemption.
Per the official S8 logline: “As The Chi enters its eighth and final season and its coldest winter ever, life or death choices must be made. The question becomes, who is willing to make them? Legacy, conflict, joy, and pain. It all collides in the biggest, most emotionally riveting way ever seen this season on The Chi.”
