Bruno Mars has entered into a publishing deal with Avex Music Group, the company announced Tuesday, putting the Japanese company in business with one of the biggest hitmakers in the music industry.
Avex will serve as Mars’ publishing administrator after the conclusion of his deal with BMG/Warner Chappell, the company said.
“Bruno Mars is one of the most culturally impactful songwriters of his generation,” Katsumi Kuroiwa, CEO of Avex Inc, said in a statement. “We are honored to partner with him and support his future works through this global publishing relationship.”
