Prime Video in Germany and Austria has struck a multi-year deal with Leonine Studios for movies including The Housemaid, The Drama and The Hunger Games – Sunrise on the Reaping.
Under the deal, which comes amid a new wave of partnerships between streamers and local players like Leonine, the Amazon streamer will take all films from the Leonine theatrical slate with theatrical release dates starting January 1 2026, along with six months of exclusive SVoD rights within the pay 2 window, and other library titles.
The deal includes big Hollywood hits like The Housemaid, The Drama starring Zendaya and Robert Pattinson, and The Hunger Games – Sunrise on the Reaping. It also includes German productions from Leonine like Ein Fast Perfekter Antrag. Library titles are Asterix and Obelix, The Expendables and John Wick. The pair have previously combined on the likes of docuseries Brabus: One Second Wow.
