EXCLUSIVE: Following its world premiere in the Documentary Feature Competition at the 2026 SXSW Film Festival, sales firm Cinephil has boarded world sales for My NDA, the investigative documentary directed by Juliane Dressner (Personal Statement) and Miriam Shor (Pluribus).
The film investigates the hidden power of non-disclosure agreements and the culture of silence they can enforce. It follows three individuals bound by NDAs that forbid them from even acknowledging the agreements exist, yet who ultimately risk a huge amount to break their silence.
Blending personal testimony with behind-the-scenes access to journalists at The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and Business Insider, the film looks at the systemic machinery that allows powerful institutions to enforce secrecy, while spotlighting the growing movement pushing back against it.
