Russell T. Davies & Pet Shop Boys Reviving ‘It’s A Sin’ For Contemporary Dance Show

It’s a Sin creator Russell T. Davies is reviving his hit Channel 4 and HBO drama with British synth pop duo Pet Shop Boys.

The group have teamed with dance studio Rambert and festival producer Glyn Fussell on a contemporary dance reimagining of It’s a Sin, which will debut in Manchester.

Davies is exec producing and the show is in early development. The team behind it described it as a “visceral theatrical experience – a reckoning and a celebration told through fearless movement.” Rambert will “transform this narrative into an immersive, living experience where contemporary dance, archive and cinematic visuals collide as past and present unfold side by side,” it added.
