‘The Madison’ Episode 4 Recap: ‘Til Death 

In The Madison, there are two kinds of flashbacks. First, there are the snapshots we see from Stacy and Preston’s life together, which ring with wit and conversational ease, and resonate with the love they shared across nearly 40 years of marriage. And then there are those other, Montana-centric dips into the past, where the main characters are water, land, and fish – the sumptuous surroundings that have provided solace to Preston and Paul for over 20 years. And in those flashbacks, stillness and quiet are just as important as what the Clyburn brothers do or do not say to one another.
