‘Real Housewives Of Miami’ Cast React To Show’s Pause As Latino Representation Wanes On Bravo

The Bravoverse was shaken to its core when it was reported that The Real Housewives of Miami was going on a pause, despite being a fan favorite.

Reports that sluggish ratings were one of the factors for the network taking a step back from the franchise, but with the shelving of a new season, the Latino representation on Bravo also dwindles.

As it is, Latinos are already one of the least represented groups on the network despite Hispanics making up 20% of people in the U.S., according to a Pew Research Center report.

RHOM was the most diverse cast on Bravo, not only showcasing Latino culture with the likes of Alexia Nepola and Marysol Patton of Cuban descent having full-on conversations in Spanish, but also giving space to the immigrant community.
