
EXCLUSIVE: The Avatar franchise’s Stephen Lang has joined The Dregs, the Tuscany-set comedic thriller starring Emmy-nominated Baby Reindeer breakout Nava Mau, along with Oscar nominee and Emmy winner Shohreh Aghdashloo (House of Sand and Fog), Piper Curda (Hoppers), Maddie Phillips (Gen V), Max Lloyd-Jones (Final Destination Bloodlines), and Charlie Gillespie (Splitsville).
Recently wrapping production, The Dregs centers on a friends’ trip to the Italian Alps that takes a terrifying turn after they drink a cursed bottle of Grappa.
Lang plays the antagonist, a bitter Alpine waiter whose family recipe for Grappa involves alchemy and witchcraft. Character details for the others remain under wraps.
