EXCLUSIVE: Phoebe Dynevor is continuing to build a diverse and robust upcoming slate as she is set to star the Amazon International series Dirty, an eight-episode series that will appear on Prime Video. Matt Charman created the show and will serve as showrunner, writer and executive producer alongside Foz Allan.
The show is set in Manchester, England and follows a mother and daughter who also serve on the police force and see each other as their biggest obstacle on the job. Dynevor is from Manchester, and sources close to the project said she had a distinct connection to the show after reading the script. The city is a character unto itself in the series, and it was important to Charman that the leads understood that as well.
