EXCLUSIVE: Former Warner Bros Pictures Group chairman Toby Emmerich has formed Fireside Access TV with Amanda Krentzman, former Executive Producer on Netflix’s International Originals team and Head of Global Original Series at Snapchat. The company hatched in partnership with Access Entertainment, a division of Len Blavatnik’s Access Industries, led by former Director of BBC Television, Danny Cohen. Krentzman will run the venture as president.
Backed by a fully independent co-financing, development and production fund, Fireside Access TV is hanging its shingle but already has scripted series in development with HBO Max and NBC. It is also collaborating with a slate of creative partners including Noah Pink, Justin Spitzer, Dave Bautista, Judy Greer and Anthony Anderson.
