EXCLUSIVE: UK-based nonfiction agency INDOX has boarded Lilyana Torres’ hybrid feature I Want To Kill My Grandfather and Josef Gatti’s immersive science documentary Phenomena for worldwide festival representation.
I Want To Kill My Grandfather is currently in post-production and is described as a “darkly playful hybrid work that blurs documentary and fiction.” The film follows a filmmaker who sets out to make a documentary about killing her grandfather, the man who once hired sicarios to attack her father. The film is co-directed by Carlos Morales (Symphony of a Sad Sea) and produced by Gabriel Stavenhagen (Rotten In The Sun) via The Lift Films and Lizzie Gillett (Lowland Kids) via Misfits Entertainment.
