The A Different World family reunion continues to grow with the addition of Dawnn Lewis and Glynn Turman, who originally played Jaleesa Vinson-Taylor and Col. Bradford Taylor, respectively, on the original series. As we reported last month, the sequel series is currently in production in Atlanta.
The guest cast will also include Tichina Arnold (The Neighborhood, Martin) as Darlene Duvall, Joshua Suiter (All’s Fair) as Andre, and Raven Goodwin (Grotesquerie, Single Black Female) as Dr. Brooklyn Boyer.
For those keeping track, with the addition of Lewis and Turman, that makes it almost a complete reunion of all the major actors from the original series. They are: Kadeem Hardison as Dwayne Wayne, Jasmine Guy as Whitley Gilbert, Darryl M. Bell as Ron Johnson, Cree Summer as Freddie Brooks, Charnele Brown as Dr. Kimberly Reese Boyer, Jenifer Lewis as Professor Davenport and Jada Pinkett Smith as Lena James.
