EXCLUSIVE: Neal Street, the production outfit behind Sam Mendes’ Beatles movies, is expanding in TV and theater with a pair of newly-created development roles.
Ed Cripps, a former development chief at The Crown producer Left Bank, joins as Development Producer while Will Mortimer takes on the role of Theatre and TV Executive.
Cripps is charged with growing Neal Street’s pipeline of scripted TV projects while Mortimer will work across the company’s theater and TV development teams, supporting the development of new stage projects alongside Theatre Producer Georgia Gatti.
Cripps was previously running development at The Crown maker Left Bank, which has been behind the likes of Dear England of late. He left late last year and his role at Left Bank has not yet been replaced. Mortimer was working for the Bridge Theatre.
