The magic of Opening Day is that every team’s in first place. ESPN recently released their predictions for the 2026 season and, unsurprisingly, they’re predicting a Los Angeles Dodgers three-peat. Perhaps more interesting is that while the Dodgers earned the majority of votes (14), the Seattle Mariners got six votes, with the Boston Red Sox receiving three, as well. Shohei Ohtani was the outlet’s pick for NL MVP, with Aaron Judge getting the most votes for AL Most Valuable Player.
