Sydney Sweeney in The Housemaid better watch out, because Zazie Beetz is also playing an ex-convict who takes a job as a maid in a brand new action horror comedy movie, They Will Kill You, which opens in movies theaters this weekend.
Directed by Kirill Sokolov, who also co-wrote the script with Alex Litva, They Will Kill You first premiered at the South by Southwest film festival earlier this month, where it was met with mostly positive reviews from critics. Zaxie Beetz stars as Asia Reaves, a woman recently released from prison who answers a help-wanted ad to be a housemaid for a mysterious New York City high rise. Once she gets there, she realizes she’s joined a community of housekeepers who have been going missing for years. As it turns out, this mysterious high rise is inhabited by a Satanic cult. Oops!
