NBC has picked up new seasons of Chicago Med, Chicago P.D. and Chicago Fire, or Dick Wolf’s OneChicago dramas about Windy City first responder heroes, for the 2026-27 season.
The anticipated renewals for the popular procedurals — all taking place in the same TV universe — will see Chicago Fire return in fall 2026 for a 15th season, Chicago P.D. gets a 14th season and Chicago Med returns for a 12th season. The trio of Chicago-set series dominate NBC’s Wednesday night lineup and show no signs of slowing down with audiences.
