
Photo editing on your iPhone got an AI-powered upgrade—at least if you use Google Photos in the US. New features powered by Google’s Nano Banana AI model have made photo enhancement smarter and more natural, bringing capabilities far beyond Apple’s default app.

Now, iPhone users who rely on Google Photos have been able to access AI editing tools that let them make advanced changes through written or voice instructions. According to Google’s announcement, these tools offer quick ways to transform your photos: users can request, by speaking or typing, changes like removing window glare from pictures taken through glass, adjusting group selfies so everyone’s eyes are open, removing someone’s sunglasses, or even adding a realistic-looking (but artificial) smile.
