Paradise‘s Season 2 finale, “Exodus,” took viewers on a wild, explosive ride. The OG bunker blew, Sinatra (Julianne Nicholson) went down with the ship, and we finally learned what (and where) the heck Alex is!
A flashback revealed that Alex is an advanced AI-controlled quantum computer built by boy genius Dylan/Link (Thomas Doherty) alongside quantum mechanics professor Henry Miller (Patrick Fischler). Sinatra funded the project in hopes of getting access to the fastest computer possible and solving the climate crisis before it became a catastrophe. While catastrophe clearly struck before Sinatra could prevent it, as she told Xavier (Sterling K. Brown) before she died, there’s still hope to stop all of the tragedy that’s occurred.
