It’s only April, but I’m in a horror-comedy phase. At the time of this writing, there are two of them in theaters right now, including “They Will Kill You” and a sequel to one of the movies on this list, “Ready or Not 2: Here I Come.” Now, it’s a tough genre to master because if it’s too scary, the movie stops being a good time. And if it’s too jokey, all the tension disappears. But if the filmmaker can get the tone just right, it’s one of my favorite genres.
