Joy Behar shocked her co-hosts on The View during Wednesday’s (April 1) broadcast with a joke about President Trump and former Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem.
The moment happened just as Whoopi Goldberg was throwing the first segment to commercial as guest host Whitney Cummings, who is filling in for Alyssa Farah Griffin this week, pointed out that Trump still does not have a pet.
“This guy will do anything but get a dog,” she pointed out after a conversation about Trump becoming the first U.S. president to sit in on Supreme Court oral arguments about birthright citizenship. “He is the first president to not have a dog. Even Putin has a dog!” Trump is, in fact, the first president in over 100 years to not own a dog, according to reports.
