‘Live’s Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos Admit That They Are “Not Big Cuddlers In Bed”: “We Get To Cuddling But Then… Go To Our Corners”

On Friday’s pre-recorded episode of Live with Kelly and Mark, Kelly Ripa prefaced a segment about the health benefits of cuddling by telling her husband and co-host Mark Consuelos that “this is not really us.”

“Couples who cuddle in bed, okay? We’re not big cuddlers in bed,” she added. “We get to cuddling but then…”

Consuelos chimed in, “Go to our corners.”

After Ripa echoed that they “go to [their] corners,” she read that “snuggling with your partner could be a win for your health.”

“Cuddling at night promotes more secure attachment between partners and lower stress levels,” she continued. “The results reveal that couples who assumed a physically lower position upon going to sleep were indirectly linked with couples’ insecure attachment.”

However, Ripa insisted that she and Consuelos may be an exception.
