Weeks of fans questioning where and when the 37-year-old actor would pop up in the HBO dramedy starring Jason Bateman, David Harbour, and Linda Cardellini finally resulted in some answers on Sunday during Episode 6, “The Denny’s Plan,” when Perfetti’s oddly intriguing character was finally revealed.
Perfetti — best known for playing history teacher Jacob Hill on ABC’s Abbott Elementary — was initially reported to be joining the cast alongside Joy Sunday back in February 2025. While Sunday’s character, Jodie Plum, has been present from the start of the series, Perfetti’s role has largely been a giant question mark… until now.
