Good news, High Potential fans! In a decision we’d file under “duh,” ABC has renewed its hit Tuesday night favorite for a third season!
Showrunner Todd Harthan, who won’t be returning to the series for Season 3 (more on that below), told Deadline that the Season 2 finale has a “different flavor ” than last year’s capper.
“I think it’s gonna be even more personal, even more propulsive, even more surprising than what we did in Season 1, because we’ve learned some things and the characters have gotten richer,” Harthan said.
What exactly can fans expect from the final episode of the season? The official synopsis hints at a potential complication for Karadec (Daniel Sunjata) and Morgan’s (Kaitlin Olson) most recent investigation, and that Ava (Amirah J) tries to come up with the “perfect idea for her art show.”
