Jerry Weintraub’s Treasures Up for Auction: ‘Ocean’s Eleven’ Memorabilia, Artwork and Golden Globe

Jerry Weintraub had one of those larger than life Hollywood careers that spanned 50 years and saw the late and legendary producer leave his mark across movies, television, music and sports while working with some of the most famous names of each industry. Mementos, memorabilia and treasures from Weintraub’s unique life will soon be hitting the auction block courtesy of Julien’s Auctions and Turner Classic Movies.

A sampling: Autographed scripts, wardrobe, a Faberge egg and a signed casino table from the Ocean’s Eleven franchise, Muhammad Ali’s signed boxing gloves, the racket Rod Laver used to win the U.S. Open, Robert Altman’s Nashville script, and a Golden Glove Weintraub won for producing Behind the Candelabra. The two day event, titled “Jerry Weintraub, The Consummate Producer,” is set for May 5-6, and will feature more than 800 lots on sale at Julien’s Studios in Gardena, Calif., and online. A sneak peek
