Sony has offered a first look at The Social Reckoning, Aaron Sorkin‘s companion piece to his Oscar-winning drama The Social Network, which stars Mikey Madison, Jeremy Allen White, and Jeremy Strong.

Whereas The Social Network was a drama looking at the origins of Facebook and the legal battles that followed, adapting Ben Mezrich’s book The Accidental Billionaires, The Social Reckoning is more of a thriller. Based on the events that gave rise to the Wall Street Journal’s shocking exposé The Facebook Files, this film tells the true story of how Frances Haugen (Madison), a young Facebook engineer, enlisted the help of Jeff Horwitz (White), a Wall Street Journal reporter, to go on a dangerous journey that ended up blowing the whistle on the social network’s most guarded secrets.
