The View‘s Joy Behar finally got to confront Hacks star Jean Smart for their fictional feud when the Emmy-winning actress stopped by the ABC talk show with Hannah Einbinder.
During Tuesday’s (April 14) broadcast, Behar pointed out that she is regularly mentioned on the critically acclaimed HBO series. “Deborah Vance and I, the character, have a longstanding feud on the show,” Behar explained.
She then turned to Smart. “Hacks, your show, is known for incorporating real life comics into storylines including moi, which you constantly mention my name on that show. Where’s the check?” Behar said, prompting laughter from Smart and Einbinder.
Behar also revealed that she and her co-hosts will be making another cameo this season.
Smart and Einbinder could not share much about The View cameo, but Einbinder explained that it’s related to a plotline where Smart’s character Deborah is “pursuing a spot in Madison
