Every now and then, you find an all-time TV show on a free streamer. And right now, that’s “The X-Files” on Pluto TV. This is one of those shows I’ve had in my life forever. My older sister was obsessed with it when I was growing up, so I always sat down and watched it when she had it on. That’s the same way I got into “Star Trek: The Next Generation” and “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” just by being around it. And even though I definitely didn’t understand everything going on in “The X-Files” back then, I was so into it. It felt creepy, smart, and weird in a way nothing else on TV did. Now, going back to it, it totally holds up. It’s still one of the best thriller series ever made, and if you’re looking for where to start on Pluto TV, this is it.
