A mother’s worst nightmare comes true in the first trailer for Apple TV‘s upcoming Israeli series Unconditional. Orna (Liraz Chamami) is waiting for a flight in Moscow opposite her 23-year-old daughter Gali (Talia Lynne Ronn), who tells her, “Mom, everything will be okay.”
Only it won’t.
Seconds later, officers swoop in and arrest Gali on drug smuggling charges, setting off a chain of events that sees Orna pulled into a deadly web of crime and corruption as she seeks to prove her daughter’s innocence. You can watch the full trailer above.
As previously announced the Adam Bizanski (Magpie) and Dana Idisis (On the Spectrum) series has been handed a May 8 launch date, with two episodes dropping that Friday.
