The hosts of The View found themselves completely in agreement in a rare moment of peace on the ABC talk show while discussing TMZ’s recent decision to launch a DC bureau to cover United States politicians.
Alyssa Farah Griffin, who previously worked in the White House and on Capitol Hill, said, “I welcome it, personally. I think that until members of Congress hold themselves to a higher standard they’re not entitled to some of the decorum that they might be treated with by these people covering them.”
She added, “Members of Congress should have more scrutiny on their lives than, say, Kim Kardashian does.”
But Griffin and Whoopi Goldberg had a hilarious mix-up when Griffin began rattling off a list of recent Congressional scandals that have made headlines, “I mean, think of recent headlines, mistresses, affairs, abuse…”
“For Kim Kardashian?!” Goldberg asked in shock, prompting Griffin to clarify
