
Time to don your best beret. Sandfall and Kepler Interactive’s French action adventure game Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 staked claim on the Best Game prize at the 22nd BAFTA Games Awards, which were handed out Friday at the Queen Elizabeth Hall in the South Bank of London.
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 also garnered a win for Debut Game and Performer in a Leading Role for Jennifer English, who plays Maelle. Clair Obscur: Expedition came into the ceremony with 12 total nominations, followed by Dispatch with nine, Ghost of Yōtei with eight, Death Stranding 2: On the Beach with seven and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle with six.
Other winners included Death Stranding 2 for Artistic Achievement, Ghost of Yōtei for Technical Achievement and Music, No Man’s Sky for Evolving Game, Lego Party! for Family Game, South of Midnight for New Intellectual Property and Atomfall for British Game.
